What are these apps in my launch pad are they meant to be there?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
Yes I am the only user, they look like old school system apps they are called
Application stack builder
Pg admin 111
Reload configuration
Restart server
Sql shell (psql)
Start server
Stop server
They are not in my application folder just in my launch pad
Not that I know of!
As long as they are not harlmful im happy to leave them. I jut didnt want to delete them and find out I was not meant to and they were part of mountain lion utilities!
Should I delete them?

Then it is a mystery! Do you have another User account on your Mac and could that possibly have it's own Application folder. If you don't want them, then delete them from Launchpad and anywhere else you find them.

Those postgres tools aren't part of the standard Mountain Lion install. I don't have them on my MBP with Mt. Lion client. I don't even have them on my Mini with Mt. Lion Server which actually use postgres for certain services.
Found them but not in my utilities they were in a folder called
PostgreSQL 8.4
aparently it is : The core of the PostgreSQL object-relational database management system
MMMMMMMM not sure how or why that is on my computer but maybe I should leave it just incase, does not look like spyware or anything, seems semi legit.... well sort of :-S

I found one called sound flower too but that seems to have somthing to do with Airplay!
I can not delet these apps out of launchpad and I can not find them anywhere else on my computer.
Did you check in /Applications/Utilities?
