Q: I bought an iphone in march and just realized that everyone else can turn their iphone's sideways and the screen flip. Mine has never been able to do this. Is their anything I can do?

I had a friend get on youtube and she flipped her phone sideways and the screen went sideways. I don't have insurance on the phone, but my phone has never been able to do this. And, I bought it brand new march. Is there anything I can do? And my screen has a tendency to freeze too. I thought that was just normal with the phone, but now I'm wondering if I just got ripped off.
