How Do I Download Real Media Player?

I have a G4 with OS 10.4.5 which I bought second hand.

It does not have Real Player or Windows Media Player on the hard drive. Where and how can I get them for free? Are they free downloads on the internet as stand-alones or do I have to subscribe to some kind of music program?

Microsoft won't be continuing support for Media Player for the mac per this announcement.

BUT they have teamed with Flip4Mac to provide a free QuickTime plugin to allow you to play .wmv files in QuickTime.

Flip4Mac is only for those with OS 10.3.9 and up. Those with OS before 10.3.9 are stuck with WMP. It still works, though.
