Sep 17, 2012 10:12 AM in response to sanjampetby stephenfromlouisville,None of these helped at all. I boot up and no hot corners and still not able to drag and drop files. Eventually it will start working again but once I shutdown and boot up again it starts all over.
I've lately grown weary of software issues with apples software. I use to not experience these issues, but as of last few upgrades it see,s as though they gear the software to work on new models only and past hardware has bug issues or isn't fully compatible.
If that's the case then why not just say the software is for models from late 2011 or newer. APPLE IF YOU ARE GOING TO ALLOW THE SOFTWARE TO BE DOWNLOADED TO A PREVIOUS YEAR COMPUTER, THEN WHY NOT CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT ALL WORKS CORRECTLY.
This I would expect from microsoft in the past, but not apple.

Jan 6, 2013 8:39 PM in response to sanjampetby Morrison Hotel,Hello "sanjampet" and "stephenfromlouisville",
Same problem here! I'll try your links, and thanks for posting them. Yeah, I hear ya about Microsoft......lol!
You're right though, "stephenfromlouisville". That's exactly a Microsoft-like issue. I've had the pleasure of owning my first MacBook Pro since 2011, and before that, I was using all of the OS's from Microsoft since 1996. WHAT A BIG DIFFERENCE THIS MACHINE HAS MADE IN MY LIFE!!!!! It may cost more to have a fully loaded MacBook Pro, but isn't it worth it? I only use my old Windows PC for my wireless network, mainly to transfer files and using Sony products. I wonder why Sony is so favorable towards Microsoft?! If I would have known this before I bought my HandyCam last year, I would have gotten a Canon movie recorder. It's the same way with the Sony voice recorders. I did find some cheap software that Sony put out to work with Mac.
Well, thankfully, I found our Apple Support Communities! I'll visit here now before I try other links from my Google searches. I just joined today and I'm working on my profile. Also, FYI, Google added a "verbatim" alternative to their search pages. You just have to find the instructions here: http://support.google.com/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1734130. I do a lot of research and it helps me a lot. The only trouble is, you have to set it every time you use the search .
Take care,
Dave
