What time on September 14th will the Iphone 5 be available to pre-order on the internet from the Apple Store?

It may be available at just after midnight on the 14th.

I to am wondering this. Hopfully its early so I can get my preorder in.
Does anyone know how long it took for the 4s pre-orders to sell out? Just wondering if its worth getting up at 3 am (if that's actually when it becomes available) or if I can just wait until 8 or so when I normally get up.
I preordered my 4S in the evening the day I did it, so it had been available for at least the whole day before I did it. I can't even remember if I did it on the first day of availability or not. You shouldn't have to worry.
I'd like to get the official Apple answer. Anything else is speculation.

The 4S was available for pre-order just after midnight on the US west coast, Pacific Daylight Savings Time Zone. However, they were late and it was closer to 12:20 am before I could get an order to begin processing through the Apple Store website.
AT&T and Sprint announced that they will be taking pre-orders on Friday with Sprint claiming that it will start taking iPhone 5 pre-orders at 12:01am PST. That means those on the East Coast of the United States will be able to pre-order the iPhone 5 through Sprint at 3am.
AT&T tells us that it doesn’t have pre-order timing to share just yet and Verizon Wireless has not made its plans known. We assume that both carriers will follow Sprint’s lead and offer it starting at midnight on Friday.

All three carriers have confirmed a 12:01 AM PST pre-order time, 3AM EST. Verizon included (for any speculation).
12:01 am Pacific Daylight Time, 3:01 am Eastern Daylight Time.
