Airplay
I have a macbook pro from Dec. 2010. I read somewhere that mountain lion's airplay will only work on laptops less than a year old. I am wanting to upgrade only for the airplay. Does anyone know if this is true?

If you mean AirPlay Mirroring, "AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer)."
