Is Apple going to make a Thunderbolt to Lightning connector cable?

I am wondering why apple has not introduced a Thunderbolt cable to connect to the new Lightning port along with the new line of devices that use it. I have two Thunderbolt ports on my MBPr and it would be nice for them to get more use. Any thoughts on the possibility of this kind of cable being released?

thunderbold is a multiplex of displayport (video signal) and pci-express (digital databus) which require drivers and can devliver fast speeds of transfer which the ios device would not be able to keep up with even if it was supported

doubt apple would make anything official

3th party companys might supply and demand would set the price a tb->usb which you could connect your LC cable to would likely be cheaper
