Does anyone know iTunes work with Windows 8? I know 10.7 was just realeased and I wondered if it added Windows 8 support or will I have to wait for iTunes 11?
Windows 8 is not beta anymore, it is RTM although I know a public release isn't until October.
I just want to know if people have it working or not.

Windows 8 has not been officially released.
There is no expectation that iTunes will support an OS until it is officially released.
I have Windows 8 installed, and iTunes is installed and running. Windows 8 has done something funky with text sizes, so it kinda looks bad in places. I pretty much use it for syncing my iPad, though.
Windows 8 was released in the US to enterprise and MSDN customers on Aug 15.
That does not mean it is officially released. The consumer launch is not until October.
I just installed iTunes 10.7 on windows 8.
I can confirm the issues with iTunes on the windows 8 release preview still exist.
Meaning that iTunes does work, but some devices cannot be connected nor synced. This seems to be a driver issue.
For all I know what does work: iPad 1, iPad 2, New iPad, iPhone 4S.
What does not work: iPhone 4.
These I know for sure myself, other devices may or may not work, but I didn't try them myself.

There's a few bugs apple is working on. I'm sure that includes the new windows 8 security features included as RT does not allow content not optimized for RT to run at all.

The current version of iTunes 11.04 works with Windows 8 which would be abundantly clear to anyone that goes to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download
sorry, i am planning to buy ipad 4 and have just now started researching... isee tat ppl are having trouble with itunes 11.4 and windows 8. ipad is not recognised....

At the time, Windows 8 had just been officially launched.
iTunes 11 is the current version and supports Windows 8.
There is no reason to use an old version of iTunes.
There is no reason to think that it wouldn't work. The thread was for when Windows 8 was still not released. Apple started supporting Windows 8 in the first week after the release.
