How do you open an .xltm file (excel spreadsheet) in Numbers

How do you open an .xltm file from excel in Numbers ?

According to an article at ask.com, .xltm indicates a macro-enabled Excel file. Numbers does not support Excel macros, so parts of the file woould be of no use, even if you could open the file.


You might try locating the file in the Finder, then changing the extension from .xltm to .xls or .xlsx You will lose the macros, but may be able to use the file without those features.
