POWERED G5 MAC ONLY WILL BOOT UP IN SAFE MODE..HELP..NOW I CANT RUN MY PROTOOLS SOFTWARE OR LOGIC AT ALL..IM I HAVING FIREWIRE ISSUES.????

    Unplug all devices and see if you still have problems which should indicate if it is a an issues with peripherals.

     

    Make a second administrator account so you have a backdoor into your computer in case there are issues.

     

    Presumably you haven't done anything such as fill up the hard drive.
