Hi! Is there a way transcode a Lossless library into a AAC library without losing any metadata such as rating, skip count, etc.? I'm currently trying to do it using the "Option-key" method described in the article... I'll see I guess.

When iTunes transcodes a track, the new track gets the same tags, play count, Last Played date, and artwork as the original. However, the Date Added will be new.
