Anyone have their iPhone 5 pre-order shipping confirmation and working tracking link yet?

agreed. I think we won't see anything for at least another 5-7 hours as it's 430 AM over in China. I assume we'll have to wait until businesses begin to open up, especially seeing that it's a Saturday.

Yes, based on the way the 4 was shipped it all starts in Shenzen China, then over the Pacific to Alaska where it goes through customs and from there it gets farmed out to regional fedex offices for delivery.

I pre order first from the Apple website and second my carrier. Because I thought by using Apple website I will get a better sevice and a faster delivery. Is the server of apple slower than verizon?

I just check and No I don't Well not with apple. but I have it with my carrier. Do you think The apple server is slower?

Just checked my status and it still says "items processing". Anybody moved on to a shipping status at all?

All our iphones will be coming from Chine. They arent here yet! This was done for the 4 and the 4s as well. you wont be receiving shipment notification until the 19th or so. It will stay in processing until that point in time.

no worries. its coming, and it will be at your doorstep on the 21st. did it for the last few iphones and it hasnt failed yet.

Feel bad for your UPS / Fedex delivery person on the 21st. I happened to inside the guys truck when he delivered my iphone 4s, and he had TONS and TONS of little delivery boxes. he looked very exhausted.

Apple just removed the funds from my Bank of America account for payment of the phone. Step in the right direction I suppose. Delivery date of September 21, 2012.

I still can't even check my status on Verizon's site. Just says no such order on record. I might be starting to worry now that 36 hours have passed.

My debit card got charged last night around 9pm CST. I was confused as my 3:00am CST order on Apple.com (considering the store wasn't up until at least 2:45am CST) showed a "shipping in 2 weeks." I called Apple (took forever to get through) this morning to ask why they charged me if my order was still almost 3 weeks from delivery, and she said that my phone was ready to ship... I'm hoping I will get the phone 9/21 now.

I think they sent out the wrong link in the confirmation email.

I ordered "late", around 6am ET, on preorder day and was given the Oct. 5 date. I just checked my credit card and I have 2 hits from Apple. One says "address verification only" and the other is for $106.92.

Odd amount seeing as I ordered the 64GB with Applecare.
