"so eventually there´s not change in funtion???, just in the size???, thats it???"

Why would you expect a change in a finction? What functionality do you expect that will change?

The nano SIM is smaller than a micro SIM and, it's hard to believe this, the micro SIM is actually smaller in size than the original SIM. I'm guessing a pico SIM is in the works.

I wonder if Apple ever stay truthful to their motto that they listen to customers. Did they ever considered possibility that most countries will have operators that would not provide this idiotic new standard of a sim? It took more than a year to get mini sim in my home country without manual cutting. Now nano sim is not even backward compatible, FGS. I find it difficult to believe that 2 or less millimeters allow better assembly or provide more space variations internally. The only reasonable explanation is drive to make more money from licenses of a standard they gave developed for nano sim.

Getting more and more difficult to be loyal to company that stopped listening to customers needs and concentrated on profits rather than great products. I understand that Cook is in charge, but sometimes think that Jobs made a big misake in voting for man who does not understand stuff beyond profits and losses. I would not like to switch to other phones, but so far Apple did everything they could to push customes like me away to other platforms.

The product you are suggesting has a good chance of NOT working:

But the difference in thickness, even just 0.09mm, may cause problems when a cut-down micro-SIM is inserted into an aperture designed for a nano-SIM.

also makes clear that there's no going back, so you'll have to chuck your earlier micro-SIM card if you've got one.
