I keep getting the error listed below for all the applications I had installed before. I upgraded from Leopard to Mountain Lion and nothing works now. The error is:

Dyld Error Message:

Symbol not found: _iconv

Referenced from: /usr/lib/libcups.2.dylib

Expected in: /Library/GStreamer/*/libiconv.2.dylib

in /usr/lib/libcups.2.dylib

How would I go about fixing it? I have tons of work to do for university and nothing works anymore. Any help would be higly appreciated.

Indicates that the _iconv or command is missing from libiconv.2.dylib. AFAIK, the simplest thing to do is reinstall ML. Hopefully, you saved a copy of that 4+ GB installer before it blew itself away during installation. If not, you'll just have to waste the hour or more DLing it again. Very unfriendly delivery system. 😉
