Are iTunes Rentals made on a Mac sent to iCloud

Hi,

When you click on film and rental information in the iTunes store it says that when you rent a film it will be available across all your devices. Therefore I downloaded a couple of movies. However, when I log into my iPhone or iPad these rentals do not show on either, though the rentals do show in the rentals section of my iTunes on my mac.

Has anyone figured this out, I have iTunes in the Cloud set up on all my devices also, it seems like rentals are missing?
