    Ordered 09/14 - 6.27AM PST on AT&T website

    Email says "Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012"

    Current status shows "Pre-Order procesing"

    I Ordered mine 10.50 am GMT, had a notification of delivery by the 2nd October but Im a  little disappointed on the wait although judging by the thread on this issue within the US, my wait isnt so bad!


    On another topic. buyers that purchased the iphone 5 before 2pm on the 114th should be aware they will NOT be getting the flash adapter as part of the box package stated prior to ordering. Apparently, there was a error on the website which was not noticed for 6 hours to which Apple retracted the includment of this essential accessorie for all those with 30 pin docks etc, see link below.


    I think this is unfair and should be added as part of the order as a good will gesture to all those that placed theiir order within that time frame. Failure to provide the high quality of customer service standard that Apple is renowned for will not do them any favours. I imagine it will not be seen in a postive light but more an  additional financial benefit for the company.  Its tought enough for everyone and £599.00 is no small amount to be taken lightly, Go on Apple do the right thing by your loyal customers and include the flash adapter as a GWG.

    Hi I preordered an iPhone 5 6:30 am PST from at&t and on the top of the email it said your iphone has been reserved and should arrive by step 21 2012 but when I click check status of order it says preorder processing

    When should I expect the phone to arrive.

    Guess I am really in bad shape as mine says:

    We'll ship your preordered items when they become available. All other items in your order will ship when they're available.

    And while it shows preorder processing AND I ordered on Premier at 7:14 a.m. EST, I have NO arrival date anymore-originally said it should arrive by 9/21.  Now it has no ship date, and says WHEN AVAILABLE.  Pretty bad sign!

    I ordered 2 iphones from AT&T at 5:01 CDT. Got to final page and said "Thank you for the order". But did not receive any email. I called and asked, but was told to wait 24 hours. I called back on the 15th and was told my order was on credit hold. My American Express account showed that they had reserved the charge for the Iphones and two other charges of $1 each on the 14th. They said they would now release my order, but my order would be shipped withing 14 to 21 days. I complained, but though I talked to the supervisor's supervisor, I was told they could not change my shipping date. It all was apparently do to the fact that the original email had a link for me to check that would show I was the orderer. Unfortunately while their system said they had sent it to my gmail account and I checked with them to make sure that they had the right email address, they did not send it. I say they did not because I went to google mail and checked that it had not been received by google's servers.  There was supposed to have been an email sent when they put it back in cue, but that one didn't arrive either. So no confirmatory email. No acctivation link or activation number should I eventually receive the phones. And no assurance that I will ever be notified if they ship. Of course the rep said that her report said they had sent the email and I should check my spam filter. Told her that didn't apply as I had looked at my account on google thru my browser. Didn't seem to understand that point. If you have not received a confirmatory email, you are probably not going to receive your phone until you contact them.

    I have no idea how to interpret the email that I received after placing my preorder. I ordered through AT&T's website yesterday morning around 7:40am EST. I immediately received an email from Premier confirming my order had been received. It went on to state "Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as early as September 21st." When I click the link in the email to check the status it says the order is processing. No money has been charged to my account either. Any thoughts? I appreciate anyone's insight and feedback. Hoping I didn't place the order too late.

    Stargazer, we may have been too lat BUT Premier was not working until a little before 7 am EST.   I tried Apple and AT&T and they would not let me order because I was AT&T Business-premier.  When I called this morning and gave my order number she said 14-21 days!  Will check again tomorrow but I have exact same status as you.

    I just called myself to find out what was going on and was quoted 14-21 business days. AT&T said I should receive an additional email for me to accept terms and conditions and once that happens then the order should be fulfilled. However, their email system is backed up right now and I still haven't received that message....

    If My Order so happens as to not arrive on the 21st for whatever reason...You better be sure that I will get my $36 activation fee Waived. And My shipping cost of Priority waived as well.


    There is NO reason why I should have to pay those fees. The customer is Always right (in my case).

    Actually through apple you can change the shipping address. How do I know? Oh because I just did it, called 1-800-MY-APPLE and it was a piece of cake now it is coming straight to me while my billing address is across the country. Miracles do happen.
