BEST iPHONE 5 CASE

Has anyone been looking around getting a feel for the new cases that will be available for the iPhone 5? There has to be some excellent cases that will be available right?

I have seen a few and will post the pics once I get a chance. Show me what you have seen so far! 🙂

I really like the design and sturdiness of the Otterbox case. It gives me a good sense of protection for my iPhone 5. Installation is very easy and straight forward, it comes in two pieces that snap together around the device. It makes the phone look thicker, but the trade off is the best protection you can get!

I got the ReflexSeries Case! I don't have to worry about dropping my phone any more.....it's the perfect case! Thanks for the tip!

Alot of the people working in my office are using battery cases from 4XEM in (http://www.4xem.com/4xem-external-backup-iphone-5-battery-case-cover-white/)(http://www.4xem.com/4xem-external-backup-iphone-5-battery-case-cover-black/). The cases' built in battery greatly increases the run time of the phone, specially when you use it all day. Personally I like the cases from UNCOMMON (http://www.getuncommon.com/ because you can customize them by putting your own picture on them or choose from thousands of designs from independant artists all over the world like on http://www.redbubble.com.

I guess I will add my 2 cents to the discussion. I wanted a minimal case for my i5. I used the bumper with the i4 and liked the size and weight. Recenly, I purchased a Moshi iGlaze case. It seems to fufill my needs - some protection with minimal size and weight. It almost looks like a bare-back phone, and it has a whole on the back to show the Apple logo. It fits nicely in my pocket.

Whether it meets the drop-on-a-hard-surface test is yet to be determined.

Two cases that I would suggest for those of you that are serious about protecting your tech, the Griffin Survivor and the Otterbox Defender, they can both withstand a lot of impact and are even rain proof to some extent. I personally own a Griffin Survivor and the external has taken quite a beating because I like to longboard...a lot.... I just checked out this article on keeping your Iphone in brand new condition and it has quite a bit of info, i'd say its worth a glance if your in the market for a new case, who knows, it may give you some good perspective.

Since a post like this cannot generate anything but personal opinions and experiences, I'll share mine:

Otterbox - pricier, yes, but you can warranty the case infinitely if there's ever ANY issues with it. Otterbox is very good about their warranties.

I've heard mixed reviews on the Lifeproof cases, but one in particular I've heard a lot was that unscrewing the plug cover enough times strips it...and also that the screen cover bubbles way too easy (AGAIN - I've heard).

And again, opinion.
