Q: Can data be restored on a iPhone after a full reset via settings

I need to exchange my iPhone and will be doing a full reset back to factory settings.

What I want to know is if my data could ever be restored somehow.

I know on pc's you can use program's like recover to extract deleted files but not sure if you can with Apple?

I know that no data is ever really permanently deleted but not sure how phone differ

Any thought would be appreciated

The following article has information on how to backup your device and how to restore a device using your backup.

It is important that you create a backup using iTunes or iCloud PRIOR to Erasing all Settings and Data or brining your phone in for service.

Thank you but my concern is if anyone could restore my data.
Say for example I sold the phone and wiped it first, could someone use a program to restore my personal data that I have deleted or once is gone is it safely permanently deleted.

Using Erase all Settings and Data should remove all the information off the device.

Pressumably, no one would be able to retreive this information.
