I can run the installer, but it tells me that it will skip the install to Final Cut Pro 7 because:
Final Cut Pro and Boris Calligraphy titling generator. Upgrading is required if an older version is already installed.
I only have Final Cut Pro X on my computer and haven't had FCP 6 on it before, I don't know what to do! Help please!

You can't install FCP 7 if FCX is intalled. That's the problem. FCP 7 needs to be installed FIRST, then you can install FCX.

So I can just delete FCPX, install FCS 3, then re-download FCPX right?
I just have some projects that I'm working on in X, so I don't want to lose them, or pay to download it again.
I'm pretty sure I won't have to buy it again, but I just want to play it safe...
The AppStore already knows that you already paid for FCP X. Simply download it again.
You should also get this: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover to delete FCP X properly.
