Q: Cannot remove credit card information!

Okay. I am VERY annoyed at iTunes and Apple as a whole at the moment.

I have used an iPhone and apple products for about 3-4 years and this is by far the worst thing about apple ever, and I am seriously hoping this issue will be resolved.

I have only recently (as in 3 days ago) put in my credit card details on iTunes, now this was fine as I wanted to be able to gift one of my friends an app, which was successful. But I then noticed that every time I tried to get an app for myself, and even a free one, it would bill it to my credit card, even though I have approx. $17 on my iTunes account. THIS is not my problem. My problem is that when I tried to remove my credit card information, it simply will not let me. There is NO 'none' option and I have looked on the internet for other peoples solutions to this problem, there are none. There are many people with my problem and they have spent hundreds of dollars that they were unaware was being billed to their credit card, and nothing has been done about it. I am now unable to purchase anything with my iTunes account money, and everything goes straight to my credit card. I would like this information to be removed. I am not happy.

    I am having the same problem...it is beyond irritating! and Apples "support" team tries to tell me what I already knew in the first place. There is no "NONE" option to select. I have the latest version of itunes, and I have repaired...still no change in the "EDIT PAYMENT" section. I hope they fix this problem because I dont want to have to remove itunes from my computer and start all over again...its unneneccesary when there shouldnt be a problem such as this in the first place. I'm annoyed. Ive spent all day trying to remove my credit card from my account and still nothing..I can't even update the apps on my iphone without fear of being charged to my card.

    This is also my problem and I have no answer.  I came here to get an answer. 

    I also spoke to customer service.  They could not help me except to give me answers as to why this is happening.  However, none of the responses took my credit card info OFF!!!
