iPhone 4 Dead - Hard reset not working

My phone was on around 80-90% battery before I went to sleep last night. This morning I woke up to find my alarm had not gone off. I went to check the phone and it is completely dead.

I've tried various methods

-Hard reset

- DFU Mode

- Seperate power cables

- Plugging into iTunes

None of these have worked. It doesn't help that my home button is a bit tempermental

Does anyone have experience with this and recommend any solution? I do not have the money to pay a rediculous fee for a replacement phone.
