Does anyones shipping method say "holiday shipping"?

I still have a delivery date of 9/21 but now my shipping method says holiday shipping...just checking to see if everybodies is like this that is getting them on 9/21? Thanks! Oh yeah, one more thing...do they use strictly UPS or Fedex or a mixture of all shipping companies?

At first my shipping method was standard (5 business days) when It changed to holdiay shipping I called apple support with confusion because I wanted the phone now not around christmas and they changed my shipping from holdiay to 2-3 business days. It now says "Delivers 9/21 via 2-3 Business Days". I don't know if that means they'll ship it then or I will get it by then.

I called the Apple customer service number and spoke with a representative. He said that they put all of the preorders that have delivery scheduled for 9/21 under the category "holiday shipping" so that the carriers (i.e., UPS and FedEx) would note that those orders MUST be delivered that day. Basically, it is too insure that you will get your iPhone order on the date specified on your order status. So yes, you should get your new iPhone 5 on the 21st! 🙂

If anyone would like to track their iPhone, I've found a way to do it through UPS. Even though my iPhone still says "preparing for shipment" on the apple website, I found out that it is currently in Kentucky and has already been shipped.

If you go to the UPS website and create an account.

Then go to "tracking". Then choose the "track by reference" option.

Where it says "Shipment Reference" enter the telephone number associated with the shipment. Might not necessarily be the phone number on the iPhone, might be the number associated with the billing address. Then select the destination country and the destination zip code.

You should be able to see if your iPhone is in transit!
