Home Sharing Issues

My iTunes library currenty holds 4,631 songs. (28.03 GB) Due to my only having a 16GB iPhone...I utilize Home Sharing when home to listen to music I have not transfered to my phone. I am having some issues viewing music via Home Sharing.

First, a few things you should know that might help clarify what I am seeing:

  • If I have a song from an artist...I always have the entire album, not just random songs. It's just how I like things so they feel better organized. My wife just loads random songs on her iPhone, while I keep albums intact.
  • I always navigate through my iPhone by "artist". I find the artist I want, then choose which of their albums I want, then choose the song.

So, here is what is happening. At first, I thought I was missing every single song/album from certain artists while utilizing Home Sharing via my iPhone. An example is Jason Mraz. I have 21 Jason Mraz albums (most of them are live recordings and such), but none of them appear when I browse my library via the artist tab on my iPhone. His name does not appear in the list of artists at all. I just realized however that each of those 21 albums appear if I browse my library via the album tap on my iPhone. I can't figure out why. Within iTunes, each and every album/song has all of the information included. They appear in iTunes, but disappear when I view the very same library on my iPhone via Home Sharing.

Any ideas?
