how do i sync my iphone photos to my pc

How can I get the photos I've taken with my iphone to automatically sync or backup to my pc when I sync my phone? I know how to do it manually by viewing the folder for the iphone in the "my computer" section but I'd like it to do it automatically.

thanks,

Hi Scott,

Are you using I-Tunes when syncing?

My iPhone automatically syncs the photos to my Pc from my phone when I open I-Tunes!

I appreciate your time so bear with me. What I am trying to do is to backup or sync the photos I have taken with my iphone onto my PC. When I connect my iphone and itunes opens and syncs, then while selecting my iphone under devices on the left column of choices there is a tab for photos. This only directs me to photos that I have chosen to keep copies of on my iphone that were taken elsewhere and then put into a specific folder which I have requested to be synced on to the iphone.

What I'm trying to do is to copy the photos that I've taken with my iphone onto my PC. In the left column of itunes under the Library heading there is no "photos" choice available. There is "music, movies, books, apps, etc." but no choice for photos. I've tried using the preferences under "edit" to add photos to the list but here is not a "photo" option available. I'd like to be able to see the pictures I've taken with my iphone on my PC without having to manually copy them through the windows My Computer function.

Is that possible?

After hours of looking on the web, I fianlly got an answer and it is very simple and it worked for me. If you are having problems getting pictures from your iphone to your computer and they just dont't want to sync.

Very simple.

Download picasa from google. it is free

plug your iphone into your computer

At the top check the import button and your phone should register in the box automatically,

And that is it.

You will need to plug your iPhone to your computer that will automatically run iTunes on your computer as soon as iTunes popsup. You will see a number of folders from left to right starting with information, applications, music, videos and the pictures or photos

Click on photos and and check onthe box for sync this will ask for a folder so everytime you sync your iPhone at your PC / laptop you will be sending your pictures to an specified folder at your computer.

It even has step-by-step guide on the whole process.

Hope it helps.
