It seems counter-intuitive, but when you enter your PW and then it asks you to REVIEW, click on "CREATE NEW" and then put in your normal details, and payment method and boom, then you'll have your computer finally recognize that your ID is useable.

there's no NONE option !

To create a NEW account use these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

if you already made your id log on then follow links to review account and when it comes up with the t&c type in your email address at the first mail me and the same at the bottom of that page if you do this continue to the biiling page fill it out then correctly done it should say congratulations then your ready to go hope this helps

Just bought the  ipod mini and so far i want to put a hammer thru it!

i got this working in the end.........pretty sure the options were not there previously but after trying and failing to delete the account and changing the password a few times and trying this and that i finally was able to see options at the bottom of the terms and conditions screen to enable me to proceed
