I order the new 5th gen iPod touch and would like to know if it has battery percentage since the a5 chip has 512mb RAM?

I have not heard anything from Apple. It is not dependent upon RAM since the iPhones always had the % battery.

I have the iPod touch 5th gen on my hand and I can't see the battery percentage on anywhere on the device settings.
Can you please confirm if you really have seen it by yourself on the device? if so, how to enable it?
Settings>general>usage>battery percentage (turn it on)

But it is, my boyfriend has an older version of the ipod touch and it shows the battery percentage on his. This is ticking me off. That's ridiculous.
Sadly, The iPod touch 5th Gen does not have Battery percentage.
It's jailbroken.
