Does image retnetion get worse on macbook retina ? Is there anyway to just replace the screen instead of exchanging for a new macbook retina ?
I read that they can replace the top assembly for macbook retina.. what does that include exactly ?
Yes it gets worse!! Apple is aware of the problem and even created a test to "check" for it. I had my screen replaced and I'm seeing the same problems again!!!!! here's my experience about it: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4522765
@Linc Davis if IR is normal on IPS displays, then why does it only happen on LG screens only. Are the Samsungs not really an IPS display???
mine lasts at least 3 minutes. is it bad? It annoys me sometimes.
LGs are IPS and Samsung displays are PLS. Slightly different technologies created for the same purpose.
