Why does my Mac kick me off Sims 3 constantly?

My Mac Pro often handles Sims 3 and a few of my expansion packs perfectly fine. But I've always had the problem of it randomly kicking me out of the program and saying "There was an error, do you wish to debug it?" My game and my system is up to date, I just don't know why my Mac does this. Other than that, I haven't had a problem. But this whole kicking me out at random times needs to stop, it's really inconvienent, and I usually lose data even if I try to remember to save more.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you perhaps have a solution to it?
