MBA broken hinge TS2948. Do Apple still replace the hinge for free of charge after 5 year then the hinge got broken.

MBA broken hinge after 5 years. Any cheaper way to repair it without replacing the LCD. Authorise Apple service center quoted me nearly $1000 singapore dollars to fix it,

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi, I believe that Apple only gives a one-year limited warranty so I think you are going to have to pay to get that fixed. Sorry 😟

After 5 years? No. You can check with a third-party repair service or, with all of the online teardown videos, DIY.
