i lost my proof of purchase receipt and I need to get my phone fixed. is there another way that I can get a copy of it?
When I bought my phone, I asked for a soft copy of the receipt that was to be sent to me in my e-mail, however I never got one.
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
I bought it in the apple store in Paris, in Louvre.
I lost the hard copy of my receipt/ I tried logging onto my account but the earliest purchase that flashes their is the very first app that I bought with my Iphone and not the Iphone itself 😟

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unless you purchased AppleCare Plus for your phone, I doubt you'll get it serviced in Singapore. I suspect they'll just hand the phone back to you. The standard iPhone warranty is only valid in country of original purchase, except the EU, where the warranty is EU wide.
The only way you can obtain the proof of purchase is to contact the location where you purchased the device. While there are some restrictions to obtaining service for phones purchased in countries other than the place they were originally purchased, you shouldn't have any trouble getting service in Singapore for a phone purchased in France. It's also possible they might not ask for a POP, but it'd be better to have one and to be safe rather than sorry

Apple may restrict warranty service on iPhones and iPads in the country where Apple or its authorized distributors have sold the Apple Product in origin.

I understand your concer, wjosten, and there are definitely restrictions on service as Apple sees fit, but I do not believe that the customer's specific situation is restricted by the warranty. If it were, her first service option would be to refer to the carrier or an apple authorized service provider under her service options, and it isn't

You basically said: "Talk to a live person in the right department for the company you purchased it from". To be honest, that's not ground-breaking or revolutionary enough to bump a 3 year old thread.
If a three-year old thread was the most recent thing you could find about this issue on this forum, then do you think it's really a pressing & urgent issue for anyone? Is it worth the time & effort that could be better used addressing a current technical question from a more recent guest?
I have this same concern now, in 2017, so I found the thread helpful. For those making snarky replies about the thread being too old to field current inquiries, relax! Sometimes information that's old to you is new to others.
Where did you buy the phone from?
Have you tried logging into your account for this store where you bought your phone and see if the receipt is there?
