Sep 16, 2012 7:12 PM in response to krystal0203by planb77,Do you have iTunes installed on your new Windows 7 PC? If so, does iTunes see your device when you plug the iPod into an available USB port?
All models of iPods should be compatible with the latest version of iTunes.

Sep 19, 2012 9:45 PM in response to planb77by stellahgreen,I'm having the same issue. My old shuffle is totally invisible to iTunes 7. I was fine with iTunes 6 through last week. I've been through 7 of the 10 troubleshooting steps listed in the help section, and none of them have helped iTunes 7 see my old shuffle. I can't find the disc from 2004 to complete one of the steps. Totally worthless!

Do you have a 1G Shuffle? If so, perhaps you can try using the iPod Reset Utility if you are running Windows XP or 2000.
