cannot access icloud from my pc

For several months I have been using iCloud for my email, accessing it from my pc, ipad, and iphone. For the past five days, I can no longer access it from my pc. A dialogue box appears and states "Can't load mail" (or reminders, or calendar, or contacts....). My options in the box are to check Report or OK. When I check report, the next dialogue box states there is a problem loading the application due to a possible network error or missing resources. I am NOT a computer genius. I have NO knowledge. If it doesn't work when I turn it on, I'm totally lost. How do I fix this? Can anyone help? Thank you.

Hi, I think I just find how to fix it when I was writing to you that I had the same problem.

Maybe you did the same thing as me. Last time I logged in I wrote the @me.com address as username instead of the original address of my apple ID. Since I checked the "Stay me sign in" box I did not realize that. When I use the original address, my mails come back, Yay!

Ho No! Just got the error again while writing to you... I have more that 150 email in my inbox... could be the reason of out of resources...

Hope someone will find a fix.

I've been having the same problem for several days now. I am unable to access any iCloud features from my PC (i.e., Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find My iPhone, or iWork) using either Internet Explorer (version 9.0.8112.16421) or Mozilla Firefox. I receive an error message stating "Can't load [iCloud feature]. There was a problem loading the application." The two options are "Report..." and "OK."

I've been using iCloud for some time now with no issues on my PC, iPhone 4 or my iPad 3. I am currrently only having issues on my PC. Everything works fine on my iPhone and iPad.

Bad time to receive an e-mail from Apple asking if I want to upgrade my plan in order to have more iCloud storage!

I have been having this same problem - beginning on November 1st, and still can't access any of the applications except "find my phone" and store documents. This is a new problem in additon to a related problem for the last month. I have had recurring conversations with second level Apple support regarding iCloud.com not pushing calendar event updates to my iPhone 5, and to which they claim to have sent the problem to Apple "engineering" who are "backed up". That was two weeks ago. I get "feel good" emails form my Apple contact assuring me they are working on my problem. After two weeks - I just don't believe them.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

When I first got the phone (4S) October 10 and downloaded icloud everything worked fine. Now I have the same problem as others. I'm using Windows 7. Contacted support November 6th. Very nice but no solution yet. They recommended changing my browser from IE 9 to Foxfire. Did so to no avail. They have referred the problem to engineering. From this community history of the issue, I'm not encouraged.

Followup - I spoke with Apple Support and there's a joke if ever I heard one. The guy I spoke with actually said that he didn't know that you could access Contacts, etc from the cloud!!!!!! He compounded things by then saying I should just use my iPhone or iPad!!!!! Seriously??? And not to mention that the iCloud is the SLOWEST system I've ever had the displeasure of using. Reminds me of the old mainframe days. Egads, now that says just how old I am! LOL! Call me, "still waiting on Apple to remember that the key to success is good customer service"....

After hours of trouble-shooting with a 3rd level Apple technician, we finally concluded that there was something in my Internet Explorer that created this condition. Apple walked me through all kinds of troubleshooting - disabling Norton Anti-virus, deleting cookies, etc and all without success. Independently, I had downloaded Google's Chrome browser onto the laptop I was having issues with Internet Explorer, and my access issues to iCloud from this laptop went away. Apples explanation: check with Microsoft, it is their browser and Apple does not support it!!

However, my bigger - and original issue (as this "Can't load Calendar" was a new and additional issue) of iCloud not updating any of my Apple devices (iPhone 5, and iPod Touch) - is with Calendar events not being pushed from iCloud to my iPhone, and it still remains after a most recent two hour trouble-shooting session with Apple support. It's now been 3 weeks since this issue was sent to "Apple engineers"for them to investigate, with NO RESPONSE back from these "backed up" Apple engineers. With the latest trouble shooting, Apple support was able to isolate and prove that it isn't either of my Apple devices, but rather iCloud and my specific account. (We created a new iCloud test account that was able to update iCloud calendar events back to my iPhone real time). I've now turned my iCloud password over to Apple to investigate and fix my iCloud account issue - and have a follow-up call scheduled for Thursday November 15th. I am not holding my breath...
