How do I delete someone else's ID account in my App's on my Mac?

I was looking for a cursor locator, so a friend of mine sent me a link to buy PinPoint via my App's store, but when I clicked on his link, it wanted the password to his email address. Whatever I tried, I couldn't get rid of it. So I purchased PinPoint on my second computer, but my main computer (Mac Pro), there's a PinPoint update, so when I click on Update, it wants my friends password.

How do I get rid of his email address and see mine? I logged out and back into my account, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Sign out of the App Store.

Delete any and all apps that might have been purchased under a different ID.

Rebuild the Spotlight index of your boot volume by adding it to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane, and then immediately removing it. Also remove any other exclusions, unless they're within your home folder.

Wait for the index to rebuild, then sign in to the App Store and try again to reinstall the apps you deleted.

Back up all data.

In the Finder, select Go Go to Folder from the menu bar, copy the text on the line below into the box that opens, and press return:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist

A Finder window may open with an item selected. If it does, move the selected item to the Trash. Log out and log back in. Test. You'll have to re-enter your Apple ID and App Store settings.
