OK, I screwed something up and need to restore my Ipad using a previous backup from earlier today. I can see it on my /mobilesync folder, but I don't see it in Itunes. How do I get it back?

Might want to try reinstalling itunes to get that back

OK, a little more information. I went back to time machine and think I found the backup from the previous day. I selected the \MobileSync\Backup from yesterday and restored it. When I restored the iPad and got to the prompt about setup as new or restore from backup, I couldn't see any of the iPad backups, only my iPhone. Is there a way to "restore" from TM an earlier point? 95% of the content can be replaced, its just all my notes etc.
