Adjusting volume not working

Hi!
When i try to change the volume with the wheel the "status bar" is showing that it increasing and decreasing volume.. but no changes in my ears.. it is still the same low volume.

What can be wrong?
i have tried to update firmware but it didnt fix this problem.
