Hi, you know when someone gives you an incorrect email address and you replace it with the correct one in your address book but then that old one keeps popping up in the address auto complete function in Mail, well how do you stop that happening?

Mail > Window > Previous Recipients.
Select the name then "remove from list".

Great thanks John, only been wondering how to do that for oh 3 or 4 years!
I can do this, and then can quit and reopen the mail program, and the deleted previous recipients remain gone. But when I restart my computer, and open mail, the deleted previous recipients are back in the list.
How can I make them stay gone? What can I do to stop their reincarnation?
I've repaired disk permissions plenty - no help.
