How to purge unwanted email addresses

Hi, you know when someone gives you an incorrect email address and you replace it with the correct one in your address book but then that old one keeps popping up in the address auto complete function in Mail, well how do you stop that happening?

Mail > Window > Previous Recipients.


Select the name then "remove from list".
