Notes on iCloud.com not working

Hi All,


I cannot use notes on iCloud.com.

Notes list is empty and when trying to save a new note I get an error message saying that the note could not be saved. "Please try again later", I get this message since friday. For a short period notes on iCloud worked fine for me.

Do you have any clue about this?

I have had a discussion thread running (without resolution) for some time with this issue too! Finally someone posted a link in my thread to this thread, where you are all experiencing the same issue.


Everything syncs without problems between my two iOS devices, but only Contacts syncs to the iCloud. Neither the Calendar, Notes, or Mail syncs from iOS to iCloud, or vice versa. My last successful synce was back in early August.


I have treid everything, deleting and restoring sync configurations to my iOS devices as well as uninstalling and reinstalling iClould on my Win7 PC, but nothing has helped.


This has been a huge pain in the @ss!

I have had a case open with apple support since Monday (9/24) on the notes issue and the other issue of not being able make any changes to Mac Mail preferences for the icloud account. Both of these issues seem to have fallen into a black hole. I know that I am not the only one who has an open case which the "engineers" are supposed to be working on.


I did not have a problem with my email account preferences until Apple support starting doing some trouble shooting and then the email problem materialized.


I could live with notes not being available on the icloud web interface since they were syncing between idevices but not being able to change email preferences such as whether folders contents are stored on the server or not is a bit more of an impact.


I don't understand why some kind of status on this can't be posted or why I don't get any updates on status from support. It's like the case got created and is just sitting there for 5 days now.

I am still waiting for my pre-ordered 32GB iPhone 5 to arrive from AT&T :-(


When it does, and if this sync issues still persits, then I will open a case under the warranty provisions and try to get some more attention. I just wasn't willing to pay for support on my iPhone 4 at this time.
