The Apple Store - Cupertino, CA

I understand Apple is building a new HQ in Cupertino, or vicinity soon (or maybe its done?) ... I know they have an Apple Store that is open to the public on the original (iirc) campus and most of the campus is - naturally private - as Apple likes to keep their items under wraps.

So I guess my question is when is The Woz opening the Apple/tech museaum? Would this be at the old campus or is Woz work on the current energy and financial crisis?

In any event, it would be cool to see the old and new campus - if only from a distance and see the original (employee?) store.

Where did that pirate flag fly?

Why do the brits fail to spell Cupertino correctly? Why do geeks (well most of them) fail to get 'tech'?

This article - from WAY back '06 comes to mind... yet maybe it does not qualify?

I suppose the water leak was a sign of things to come. Now Apple might be leaking money. o.0

You would have to ask Steve that question. I'm not aware of any Apple-hosted computer museum of any sort. Steve appeared some time back at the Computer History Museum, but that has no directly connection with Apple.

Same answer.

I've seen nothing to indicate that Steve Wozniak is working directly with Apple on any project at all, though of course he could be. It's not an issue for these Communities, though, which are for technical support.

Regards.

The "Company Store" at the Cupertino headquarters is open to the public. There is visitor parking right in front. The door to the store faces the parking lot. It's not an Apple Retail Store but it now looks more like one than it did before Apple started opening stores. Besides the usual Macs, iPods, accessories, and software the Company Store also has some Apple-branded items like shirts, mugs, watches and other bits of kitch. You would have to be escorted inside the main campus by an employee.
