Is version 1.4 on my Ipod Mini the same version as 1.4.1 on this web site

Hello.
Am I needing to update my Ipod mini?
I have had a look on my Ipod and it states version 1.4, is this the same as the version on the downloads page that states 1.4.1?

Hi, I think it's a different version, I did the last iPod Software update and now I have the 1.4.1
Anyway download the latest version of iPod Software and then see if your iPod needs to be updated.

No it isn't the same. Hence the .1 at the end.

However, why are you thinking of updating? If your iPod is working I would seriously suggest you leave it as it is. The 1.4.1 isn't a "must have" update and there are no new features. It was put out to address some bugs, so, if it ain't broke.....
