RealPlayer

I can't seem to install RealPlayer on my Mac, do you think this has to do with Mac's now be Intel.

G4 PowerBook Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I have it on my Intel machine-it's not Universal but it works. I didn't try to install it but migrated it from another machine.

so did you get it installed. i cant get realplayer to load in safari or firefox. any tips?

Until the Universal form of those plug-ins becomes available, you can run them by opening the browser under Rosetta. First quit the browser in question. Then find its icon in the Finder, bring up its Get Info dialog and check the box marked "Open using Rosetta". Now when you launch the browser, those plug-ins should work.

I have just had a reply from RealPlayer saying the following...

Good news - we recently released an updated (Universal Binary) version of
the RealPlayer with native support for the new MacIntels.

You can either download this updated version from http://www.real.com/mac
or, alternatively, from within the RealPlayer itself: under the "RealPlayer"
menu, select "Check for Update".

I, like you have been unable to use RealPlayer with my MacBook Pro but as from this evening everything is working 100% as it should !
