Please Help,
I have been trying to order prints in iPhoto to send to family and have been very unsuccessful.
I select the sizes of the prints, and confirm my shipping and billing addresses, then it stops. Does not show and progress with "Assembly and Upload"

I have the same issue and tried rebooting multiple times, but the photos were never sent. On top of that, Apple charged me even though the process was never finished.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

Again, the reboot thing did not work.
It turns out that there was actually something broken with iPhoto causing this bug. I installed the latest update which fixes this issue of the print ordering flow hanging without ordering (update to iPhoto 9.4.1 from 9.4.0)
I've been having the same problem. Spent an hour on the phone w/ Apple tech support before they finally blamed it on my photos.
I even opened the photo in Photoshop, did some work on it, and saved it as PNG - still no luck.
Other photos work ok.
iPhoto fails inelegantly - simply re-displays the page w/ the "Place Order" button. This occurs w/ the same photo on two different versions of OS X and two different versions of iPhoto.
And no, safe boot didn't work.
