How can I hock my other computer to my work station?
I have one G4 and know I bought apple quad-core. I want to hookup my G4 with the new one so that I can access my old system on new one.
What should I do ?

Boot the G4 in Target Disk Mode and connect the computers with a FireWire cable.

You may need a FW400 to FW800 cable if the computers don't have matching FireWire ports.
Thanks, I will try that.
Just to share,
I also found another solution where I'm currently using Apple Mac Pro and I hook my another port (ethernet 2) to another computer (Windows HP/PC) and it works fantastic and seamlessly.
Been having headache connecting it by configuring IP, DNS and what not, but apparently to solve this is very simple.
Step 1: Go to 'Spotlight' and look (type) for 'Sharing' and select 'Internet Sharing'.
Step 2: Go to 'Network' setting and add new new interface and select 'ethernet 2' and leave it as it will automatically set your internet.
It works either vice versa. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I owe Myfirstmac.com big time! 🙂
Do you mean that you want to access it over the network? If so, do you want access to files, or to the screen, or both, or neither?
As you said, I want access to files and hard drive. So Davis what do you suggest?
Thanks a lot every one for great help.
On the G4, open the Sharing pane in System Preferences and activate File Sharing. If you can't access it from the new Mac, see the link below.
