It would be nice if Adobe was able to resolve the issues with their CS6 suites, but after many posts there it seems they are not giving any advice to installation/updating issues. The reason I came to Apple Discussions was because my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.2 won't update apps that my Mac Pro with OS X 10.7.5 will. Granted there may be other issues involved with this but frustration is mounting. After multiple uninstallations and reinstall of CS6 and also a clean install of OS X 10.8.2 I was seeking some one possibly with similar issues. But I guess that's not here either.

Adobe support boards were not able to fix the install problem(s), but a discussion here (https://discussions.apple.com/message/21610514#21610514) about a "Broken Sudoer" was spot on. Checking "sudo" in Terminal gave the error. A reinstall of the OS fixed the problem and no further install fails have happened.
