Help here > Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
Call Apple Customer Service and tell them you need to order the Lion upgrade. They'll assist you.
Hope this helps 🙂
You can upgrade from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion directly.
"If you are running Snow Leopard (10.6.x), update to the latest version of OS X Snow Leopard before you purchase OS X Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store. Click the Apple icon and choose Software Update to install Snow Leopard v10.6.8, the latest version."
You can call Apple, 1-800-MY-APPLE and get a code to use to download Lion from the Mac App Store, but if it were me I would do what Carolyn says and go directly to Mountain Lion. I use both on my MacBook Pro and new iMac and ML is much faster, Safari is much faster. Just go to the Mac App Store and download ML directly.
OK. When I go into the Mac App store and choose to download Mountain Lion, a window pops up saying Mac OS X doesn't recognize internet addresses starting with macappstores. What does that mean?
