Have you tried all the suggestions in this Apple support document?

Sep 18, 2012 2:38 PM in response to planb77by RyderBoy,My iTunes songs are all converted to ACC and one of the songs that has this problem was purchased from the Apple Store. I tried resetting my iPod but still the same problem.

Sep 18, 2012 3:34 PM in response to RyderBoyby RyderBoy,I'm at work so I will have to wait to try the songs from my iTunes library, and will let you know. The songs always played from start to finish until I had to restore my iPods and reload the playlist a couple weeks ago.
