Sep 19, 2012 5:49 AM in response to Henry Castañedaby planb77,Are you charging the iPod with the same cable that was originally included with the iPod Shuffle? Are you plugging it into a high powered USB port or wall adapter?
I would try letting it charge for a couple of hours instead to see if that makes a difference.
It might not hurt to reset the iPod before charging it again.

Sep 21, 2012 6:25 PM in response to planb77by Henry Castañeda,Hi thanks so much for your response, but well I've tried to let the iPod charging for several hour without success, also I lost the charger, but I purchased o new one in apple store, therefore I am not using another type of charger, I always connect it to my Mac book air. I guess, I will return to the store where I bought it, to get it evaluated I'm in warranty and I still have the purchase receipt. I decided this because I've already reset it to defaults. Anyway..thanks for your response!. Henry.

Your positive this replacement cable stated it was compatible with the 4G Shuffle? I ask because the cable for the 1G and 2G iPod Shuffle will not work with the 4G Shuffle and the connectors are slightly different.

Not a bad idea at this point. Best of luck!
