skipping/stuttering once i downloaded 10.7

I'm having the exact same problem. I've been googling but can't find the answer. At least your not alone.

Seems like everyone who update has problems, and APPLE won't say anything. Problem spans from music skipping, to not being able to see video, movie. Syncing and even not starting and shutting down at startup. Steve Jobs turns around in his grave, if he knew this.

it keeps like stuttering the songs then repeating it so annoying i think im gunna use a different music player now how stupid ******* apple better get a fix

I am also getting this, it is very annoying. I have stopped using iTunes and won't go back until Apple do something about this

Going back to 10.6.3 and seeing if it will make a difference ill keep you updated on how it goes

I also experienced stuttering playback issues right after downloading 10.7 on Windows XP. I have an old Pentium4 with 3G Ram, but never had this problem before. Seems to be really bad at the beginning of every song and then gets better after playing for awhile. Surprised Apple didn't do better beta testing.

Hope this can be fixed soon with an update. Does anyone know if more RAM or faster CPU and/or audio/video cards would help.

I'm having the same problem when I have another window up and playing music at the same time. It stutters or freezes up for a few seconds and stutters some more and I updated it to the newest version as well.

So the only thing I can do ids burn the music onto cd,download it onto another music player.

OMG I just Fixed it!

Go to the task manager look for iTunes.exe, right click look for priority and set to to "AboveNormal".

Answer yes to the warning and it's done 😀
