Sep 18, 2012 10:20 PM in response to launica_88by KHeizer,I upgrade to iTunes 10.7 last night and now 1/3 of my songs will not sync with iPod Nano (gen 6). Message is "not copied because it cannot be play on this iPod". The same songs have been playing fine for over a year. iPod (v1.2) iTunes 10.7.0.21. All songs are Mp3 and play fine within iTunes and until I sync played fine on iPod.

Sep 24, 2012 1:21 PM in response to launica_88by KHeizer,Finally found a fix, no help from apple, and it required a big leap of faith. I had to do a complete reset of the iPod.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button simultaneously for at least eight seconds or until the Apple logo appears. You may need to repeat this step.
Then your iPod is just like new with no music or identification. Then resync it with your computer and the music returns.
I was very scared to do this being that I did have a working iPod with my favorite songs. I just could not add anymore songs or sync the existing songs. But it worked after all.
