Q: Unable to start my Iphone after reset. I get only apple logo and nothing else

I have IPhone 3G and had to reset the phone. After that now I get onl Apple Logo on the screen and nothing else. It remains on the screen untill battery is over.

How do I restart my phone

iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.2

    Charge up your phone and try to see if it get's past the Apple logo. If it does not try to reset the device.

     

    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

     

    If this doesn't work, then try to turn the phone off.

     

    Restoring the device may be your only option at this point, you will lose any data not already backed up.

     

    Press and hold the home button and plug it into your computer with iTunes open. Keep holding that Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, the iTunes logo and USB cable.

     

    Then iTunes should tell you that it has detected an iPhone in Recovery Mode and needs to be restored.
