now computer freezes garageband effects boxes disapeared and garageband crash

I downloaded mountain lion on my mac now it freezes.Had to manually download updates stopped updating GarageBand crashes can u help
Boot while holding down the command-r keys into the ML Recovery Disk. Select Disk Utility and run Repair Disk. Further issues with Mountain Lion might be best posted to the Mountain Lion forum:
